David Wayne Gibson,

David Wayne Gibson, Sr. was born toGeorge and Lethel Gibson in Shreveport, Louisiana on May 20, 1940. He passed away on June 15, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Lethel Gibson; brother, J. C. Gibson; and his mother-in-law, Dale Patterson. Survived by his wife of 50 years Betty Gibson and his children, Diane Barcheers and husband Leland; Wayne Gibson, Jr. and wife Pat, Sandy Partain and husband Jimmy. Also survived by grandchildren Justin, Nathan, Nicholas and Kaylea Partain; brother-in-law, Johnny Tinsley; sister-in-law, Jimmye Tinsley; nieces and nephew Susan Hemmenway, Rhonda Byrd, Michael Tinsley, andAlicia Welder and many great nieces and nephews. The pall bearers for the service are: Justin Partain, Nathan Partain, Nicholas Partain, Michael Tinsley, Don Ince and Larry Riggs. Services will be on Friday, June 19, 2009 at 2:30 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening, June 18, 2009 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
