David Travis Brooks

David Travis Brooks, Jr. was born August 1, 1977 and passed away on January 26, 2016. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harlan and Georgie Brooks, Rexford and Carmen Crouch, and his mother-in-law Lindy Cranford. David is survived by parents, David and Lynda Brooks; his wife, Corrina McGuire, his sons Christopher Travis Brooks and Jay McGuire, his sister Amber Baker and husband Mark, and his nephews Dusty and Mason. Though our hearts ache, Dave is no longer in pain. He fought a long tough battle, never complaining and always taking care of others first. He is truly missed and loved by many. Visitation is Friday, Jan. 29 from 5:00PM – 7:00PM at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, TX. Service is 2:00PM Saturday, Jan. 30 at Bethany Baptist Church, 7300 Bruton Road, Dallas, TX.
