David Beaver

David Austin Beaver of Forney, Texas passed away on June 10, 2023, at the age of 70.
He was born in Oakland, California on June 2, 1953 to Arnold and Sondra Beaver. David married Kathleen Wyatt on September 25, 1982 in Garland,Texas and their two families became one. He loved his country, family and cats very much.

David was a proud Navy veteran, serving during Vietnam on the USS Lexington. He excelled in advanced courses where he qualified as Plane Captain, Line Division Branch, where his duties included inspecting squadron aircraft, servicing and directing aircraft, as well as aircraft security watches.

After his military service, David became a professional truck driver for 36 years, and was recognized with many safe driving awards. He drove for Central Freight Lines, Watkins and Pepsi Co. across the great state of Texas and Oklahoma that had him home on the weekends. During his early adulthood years, weekends were filled with league softball. Later years saw weekends full of golfing, fishing, motorcycle rides on his Goldwing, and watching the Cowboys. The Devils Bowl could always count on his attendance sitting high in the stands so he could see everything. 

David is survived by his wife Kathleen, daughter Crystal Beaver of Vassalboro, Maine, daughter Lauren Palmer and Son in law Jason Palmer of Forney,Texas, Granddaughters Kaitlyn and Gabrielle Palmer, Grandson Blake Canady and his daughters, Emilia and Lanie, of Corpus Christi. Surviving siblings are Debbie Choate, Mark Watson and Terry Beaver.

He is proceeded in death by his dad Arnold Beaver, mom Sondra "Sunny" Edmonds and sister Joy Lynn.

The memorial Service for David Beaver will be held Tuesday June 27, 2023 at 2:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, Texas. There will be a private burial at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at a later date.
