Darthie was a doting mother, gentle grandmother, humble servant, and a friend to all. She lived life to its fullest, never missing a chance to laugh, cry, hug, or help. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren. Her best trait came in the fulfilling the calling for her life. She was the best friend and faithful helpmeet of her husband Arnold. Together, they impacted thousands of lives for God. They started bus routes, worked in childrens and teen churches, and spent countless hours turning others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Young ladies have listened to her, learned from her, and gleaned pearls of wisdom from Darthie. She was a wonderful example of the virtuous woman in Proverbs 31, for Darthies value to all who knew her was far above rubies . Her wit, charm, warmth, and smile will be sorely missed by all. We thank her for the many lessons she taught us through her example and words of wisdom. The family thanks you for your kind expressions of thoughtfulness during this grieving process.
