MILLER, Dara of Forney born June 16, 1953, in Escondito, California passed away May 5, 2004, in Forney, TX. Survived by husband, David Miller; children, David & wife, Tammy Miller, Christy & husband, Chris Thomas; parents, C. W. & Delores Schindler; brothers, Lon, Shane; sister, Carla & husband, Pat Wilson; grandchildren, Preston Miller, Cole Thomas, Ainsley Miller, Chloe Thomas; numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be 10:00AM Friday at the New Hope Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry Griffin, officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Forney, TX. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00PM - 8:00PM Dara Miller Born Dara Sue Schindler on June 16,1953 to Calvin William and Deloris Kathleen Schindler in Escondido, California. Dara was the first of four children.Married David Michael Miller on January 22, 1972.To this union was born a son, David Christopher Miller and a daughter, Christy Leigh Miller Thomas.Dara gracefully passed from this life to be at home with her eternal Father on May 5, 2004 at the age of 50.Dara was an inspiration to all who knew her, and will be dearly missed by those who loved her. Her legacy and strength of character will be carried on by her survivors including her husband, David; son, David Christopher and wife Tammy; daughter, Christy Thomas and husband Chris; parents, Bill and Deloris Schindler; two brothers, Lon Schindler and Shane Schindler; sister, Karla Wilson and husband Pat.Grandchildren, Preston Scott Miller, Ainsley Grace Miller, Cole Reese Thomas, Chloe Alyssa Thomas and a multitude of extended family and friends.
