Danny Sims

Surrounded by his family, Danny Sims entered into his heavenly home on November 5, 2019. He was born on February 21, 1961 in Amarillo, Texas and passed away at the age of 58. He and his father, Merlin Sims, and brother-in-law, Hunky Carter, owned and operated MCS Mechanical for over 30 years in Mesquite. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Merlin and Carlotta Sims and granddaughter Sadie Lane. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Donna Sims, two children: Jimmy Sims and his daughter Heaven Faith, and Tambra Richardson, her husband Roy and their daughter Ella Grace.He is also survived by two sisters, Debbie Seabourn and husband Jerry; Kim Carter and husband Hunky. Danny is survived by two sister-in-law’s Patsy and Darrell Shelton, and Sandy and Paul Sowards; Mother-in-law, Helen Jones and Uncle B.Von Sims. Numerous nieces, nephews, and devoted friends also survived. As a lasting and gracious gift, Danny Sims generously donated his organs in order that others might live.
