Dannie Jackson Heil, a special man of high integrity, was dedicated, hard-working, witty, loved and respected by all who knew him. He was born October 2, 1945 in Pampa, TX and passed peacefully in his sleep at his home on February 17, 2022 in Mesquite, TX.

Dannie is survived by his wife Glenda Heil, who has been the love of his life for 54 years, his adored daughter Sara Stroud and husband Jared, and cherished grandson Jackson. His siblings include brother Walter Heil and wife Wilma of Amarillo, and sister Alicia Heil of Pampa, TX. Additional extended family members include Sheila Riddle, David and Linda Givens, Tina and Tali Trejo, Jackie and Kelly White, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews who love and respect him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Velma Heil of Pampa, TX.

Dannie spent the first part of his working career as a retail store manager. He retired after working the last 20 plus years as a site manager with Living Earth Technology. He loved working and being outdoors. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Mavericks. Most important in his life was his family, extended family and the many friends and memories he made with them. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.
