YOUNGBLOOD, Daniel Martin of Forney, was called to his home in heaven on November 29, 2009. He was born on September 22, 1940 in Waco, Texas in his grandmothers home to George Jefferson Youngblood and Ruby Louise Hawkins Youngblood. He grew up in the Piney Woods of East Texas, graduated from Colmesneil High School, home of the Bulldogs and attended Decatur Baptist College. He retired in 2008 after working 49 years for Ricoh Business Systems. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Joy Youngblood; sons, Kyle Martin Youngblood & wife, Tara, and Clayton Todd Youngblood; grandchildren, Jordan Youngblood, Makenzie Youngblood, Brannen Youngblood, Kaitlin Youngblood, Jessica Milton and Chloe Milton; brothers, John Youngblood & wife, Sharon; sister, Martha Handley & husband, James; Aunt Hazel Sasser; sister-in-law, Marion McKenney; brothers-in-law, Frank Parker & wife, Doris; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Anyone who ever met Dan, loved him dearly. His sense of humor, positive attitude, strong work ethic and faith in the promises of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ carried him through life and are carried on in his family. Memorials may be made to the Landscape Fund of Camp Barnabas, where he volunteered as landscape maintenance worker and lover of disabled children at Camp Barnabas, 901 Private Road 2060, Purdy Missouri 65734, or on line at campbarnabas.org.
