Dana Lampkin was born on September 12, 1958 in Abilene Texas. She went to be withher Lord in her heavenly home on March 21, 2012. Preceded in death by her father George W. Wingo, her mother Mary Jo Wingo, and a brother, George Wingo Jr. Survived by her husband, Gil Lampkin, a daughter and son in Law, Courtney Klein and Brandon Klein, one grandchild, Logan Klein, a brother and his wife, Richard Wingo and Zazelle Wingo, a brother in law, Mike Lampkin and his wife Karen Lampkin, a sister in law, Paulette Lampkin, nephews Ernie Lampkin, Scott Wingo and Jay Wingo, several cousins and many beloved friends. Danaloved hanging out with daughter, Courtney and her grandson, Logan. She enjoyed spending time with close friends and she especially enjoyed antique shopping. Other things she really enjoyed was loving her two boys, Maximillian, and Skipper-Dipper-Doodle (our puppies), and she verymuch enjoyed the fellowship with friendsat the classic movie nights. Dana was a collector of angels which she often shopped for and frequentlybought at the antique shops. She was a faithful church worker at all the churches she attended. Everyone knew how much she loved jewelry and how well she always coordinated her cloths and jewelry. She will be greatly missed by her husband, family members and her many dear friends. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00PM - 8:00PM. Service will be 10:00AM Tuesday March 27, 2012 at Calvary First Baptist Church, 2850 Eastglen Blvd., Mesquite, TX. 75181. Interment will be in DFW National Cemetery, Dallas, TX.
