Donald Dale Taylor was born June 24, 1937 in Stover, Missouri and after a most courageous battle with lung cancer, he went home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 13, 2012 in Balch Springs, TX. Dale journeyed through this life as a son, brother, husband, father, grandpa, uncle and friend. On his 17th birthday he enlisted in the U.S. Army and proudly served his country forfive years in France and Europe. He was a truck driver by trade for Ward Drug Company, Continental Bakery/Hostess and Team Air Freight. He later was co-owner of Double T Specialties and operated a knife, custom hat/t-shirt booth at the Mesquite Rodeo, State Fair of TX and area flea markets for many years. He retired from his own independent wrecker service business in 1995. Dale loved to play guitar and all types of musical instruments plus garden or go fishing whenever possible. He was a member of 1st Baptist, Balch Springs, now called Calvary First, Mesquite. He will be remembered for his faith in the Lord, love of his family, sweet voice in song and gifted guitar pickin. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Dale was preceded in death by his father, John L. Taylor; mother, Minnie L. Snavely-Taylor; and all five of his siblings: Bonnie Taylor; Herbert Taylor; James Taylor; Ralph Taylor and Nellie Ann Maunder. He is survived by: Wife of 52 years, Janice Taylor; Daughter, Dee Dee Danneman and husband Jimmy; Son, Tim Taylor and wife Penny; Son, Randy Taylor and wife Myrna;Son, Leland Taylor and wife Kerrie; Grandchildren/Great-Grandchildren: Lance Taylor, Cade Taylor, Lucas Taylor, Joshua Danneman, Jeremy Danneman, Kristina Bell, Lyndsey Edwards, Kristie Lynne Patterson, Jason Salyers,Courtney Salyers, Makayla Salyers, Reagan Stewart and Jackson Bell. Numerous nieces/nephews and great-nieces/nephews. Dale passed from this life knowing that he had two great-grandsons arriving this fall: Landon Taylor and Riley Stewart
