CONSTANTINE, Dale Harold, born April 11, 1924, to Dale & Sine Thomsen Constantine, surrounded by the love and care of his family during his final journey, passed away March 27, 2005. Papa was a graduate of Iowa State University in 1948.He served in the Army during WWII.While living in McGregor, TX., he served as Scoutmaster, Director of the Little League and was a member of the Lions Club.Active member of many churches; First Methodist Church of McGregor, TX, First United Methodist Church of Muskegon, MI; Interdenominational Church of April Sound, Montgomery, TX. and the First United Methodist Church of Forney, TX.A beloved husband, father and friend, Papa was a dedicated servant of the Lord and a wonderful example to his family.His most loved hobby of golf has been passed down through all the generations. Survived by his wife of 40 years, Carolyn; brother, Jim Constantine of Waterloo, IA; daughters, Karen Anderson of Mesquite, TX, Jean & Jerry Constantine of Kansas City, KS; sons, Bill & Helen Constantine of Troy, MI, John & Joyce Hogan of Orlando, FL, Al & Paula Hogan of Forney, TX; daughter-in-law, Betty Constantine of Arlington, TX; grandchildren, Aaron & Susanne Anderson, Allison & Chad Merrick, Ashlie Howard & Terry Bagley, Heather & Jason Bierlein, Lori Constantine, Jim Constantine, Justin & Jennifer Hogan, Joshua Hogan & Kristin Nordgren, Jordan Hogan, Sara Constantine, Joel Constantine, Brittany Hogan, Austin Hogan, Marty & Laura Zebreski; great grandchildren, Jack Hogan, Jacob Hogan, Seth & Luke Zebreski. Dale was preceded in death by his son, David Constantine. A celebration of his life will be held Sunday, April 3, 2005 at 3:00PM at the First United Methodist Church, 414 W. Broad St., Forney, TX. 75126.There will be a visitation after the service in the McLain Family Life Center adjoining the church.
