Curtis George Wilson

Curtis George Wilson passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019 at his home in Mesquite, Texas with his wife by his side. Curtis was 61 years of age. Curtis was born on December 17, 1957 as Cyril George Gomolcak Jr. in Trenton, New Jersey to Alice Reisinger Gomolcak and Cyril George Sr.After a divorce, at the age of 6 Cyril Jr. was adopted by Robert Edward Wilson and his name changed to Curtis George Wilson which he was known the remainder of his life. Curtis is preceded in death by his biological father, Cyril G. Gomolcak Sr.; brother, Michael F. Wilson; mother and father-in-law, David and Linda Boyd and sister-in-law, Debbie Albanese. Curtis is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sharla Lynn Wilson; son, Zachary Curtis Wilson, daughter-in-law, Sarah, and new grandson, Wade Wilson.Also surviving Curtis are his stepdaughters, Lauren Taylor Albanese, Crystal Lynn Albanese; grandchildren: Taylor and Brooklyn Albanese, Aiden Milton, Daylen and Hudson Shain, brother-in law, Keith Albanese; brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Lorena ZBoyd and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Memorial Service will be at 2:00PM March 2, 2019 at New Hope Funeral Home.
