Curtis Dunn

Curtis Gene Dunn Sr. of Mesquite, Texas was Born in Kingsport, TN. to Mr. John and Kay Dunn on July 11, 1946 Passed away on November 29, 2019 after unexpected complications from surgery. Curtis moved his family to Dallas in 1973 and started his roofing business. Married 56 years to the love of his life Wanda Dunn To know Curtis was to love Curtis, he never met a stranger and brought laughter to every situation. Our family feels blessed to have known and been loved by him, he had a gift of pouring unconditional love to both strangers and those he held close. Curtis adapted to the different seasons that life brought with grace and an open mind. Curtis had a great sense of humor, his love & hugs will be missed greatly. Preceded in death by his parents John and Kay Dunn, three brothers Ernest, Howard and Johnny Dunn, sister Jenny Hale and twin grandchildren Shane & Sydney Lacy. Survived by wife Wanda Dunn, sister Jane Dunn, daughter Tonya Massey, son Curtis Gene Dunn Jr., daughter Karen Cutler and daughter Geree Adkins. Curtis loved big and would do anything for his family, he will be sorely missed and remembered.
