Crystal Moreno Avila, 24, of Mesquite, TX went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 20, 2014. She is preceded in death by her brother Ruben Moreno Jr. and paternal grandfather Ismael Moreno. Survivors include her husband Abraham Avila, son Abraham Avila Jr., parents Ruben and Cynthia Moreno, sister Melanie Moreno, brother Samuel Moreno, grandparents Antonia and Jose Vasquez, grandfather Christobal Flores, grandmother Mary Lou Moreno, great grandmother Cuca Duran, one niece Annaliza Contreras and two nephews Ruben Contreras and Noah Smith. Crystal graduated from Poteet High School in 2009 and was a nursing student at East Field College and the University of Arlington. She married her childhood sweetheart Abraham Avila and their son, Abraham Jr., was the best gift God ever gave her. Crystal had an unwavering faith in God which was only reinforced throughout her strong and courageous battle with cancer. She was her mother's best friend, her daddy's little girl, her sister and brother's keeper, a loving aunt to her niece and nephews, and a kindhearted soul to all that came to know her. She is dancing and singing in the presence of our Lord and Savior. She will be deeply missed and we will cherish every precious moment God gave us with her. Services will be held at Lake Pointe Church, Mesquite TX on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 12:00.Pastor Jerry Minx will be officiating service. Interment will be at New Hope Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Sunnyvale, TX Visitation will be at New Hope funeral Home on Monday evening from 5PM-7PM.
