Courtney Pearson Watson, 37, of Forney Texas, devoted mother, wife and daughter, passed to her eternal home with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, May 11, 2021.
Courtney was born and raised as a young girl in Lake Charles, LA, but later moved with her parents and lived most of her life in East Texas, most recently in Forney. She graduated from Mesquite High School and then played collegiate softball (on scholarship) at Paris Junior College. Courtney was a compassionate soul, always wanting to help those in need, she had a giving spirit and loved her children and family.
She leaves to cherish her memory three amazing children, Landon (11), Aiden (6) and Kylie (3), her loving husband Nick Watson, parents Ronnie and Debra (Woodard) Pearson; two sisters, Shanna Carpenter (Gary), Dana Decareaux (Ray); her in-laws Susan and Paul Montgomery and Margette and Larry Slocum, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Otis Ray and Mary Velma Woodard; paternal grandparents, Jack and Paula Lucas; uncles, Paul Pearson and Chris Jacob, aunt, Sandy Woodard Williamson; and cousins, Nicholas Jacob and Taylor Pearson.
Visitation and services at New Hope Funeral Home of Sunnyvale, TX will begin at 9:30 a.m., on Saturday, May 15, 2021, followed by a reception at the same location.
