Colleen Marie Blanton Lovell died December 9, 2017.Born August 18, 1929 in Winters, Runnels County, TX . 4th generation Texas descendant of 7 ancestors of the Republic of Texas and lived in Dallas County since. 1930.She attended Stephen F. Austin grade school and Crozier Tech high school in Dallas. Married Billy Ray Lovell 1948-1999.She is survived by her daughter, Glenda Rae Morton of Mesquite; granddaughter, Brittney Morton and two great grandchildren. Two sisters, Frances Blanton Wetzel of Terrell, TX. and Elda Blanton of Sulphur Springs, TX.Preceded in death by her husband, her parents, Callaway Leeman and ruth M. (Watson) Blanton, son, Douglas v. Lovell. 3 brothers, Douglas J. Winford L. and George G. Blanton; 2 half brothers, Truman R. and Horace E. Blanton.Graveside service will be 10:00AM Tuesday December 12, 2017 at Grove Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Joe Perry officiating.
