Clarence "Allen" Blackman, passed away on March 6, 2023, at the age of 79, in Mesquite, TX. He was born on February 7, 1944, in Gatesville, TX, to Clarence and Morie Blackman. He graduated from Waco High School in 1962.
Allen married Judy (the love of his life) on February 14, 1964. They had 2 daughters; Christy and Darla.
Allen enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and being outside at the lake house. He was a member of several fishing clubs; Gar-Tex and CAST. He was also a long-time member of the Mesquite Elks Lodge.
Allen is survived by his wife of 59 years Judy Blackman, daughter Christy May and son in law Roy May, daughter Darla Webster and son in law Stephen Webster. 3 Grandkids, Brandi Spencer and husband Kyle, Justin May and wife Brittney, Travis Webster and wife Danielle. 6 Great Grand Kids; Camden, Easton, Carson, Joshua, Ryder, and Emersyn.
Allen is preceded in death by his father Clarence Blackman, mother Morie Blackman, brother Robert Blackman, and twin newborn sons; Timmy and Jimmy Blackman.
Visitation will be held at New Hope Funeral Home - Sunday, March 12, 2023, from 6 pm - 8 pm.
Funeral Service will Monday - March 13, at 2 pm also at New Hope Funeral Home.
Burial will be at a later date.
