This should be a comfort to each one of you .Clara was especially fair minded when it came to giving gifts at birthdays and Christmas. At Christmas, she devoted many hours deciding on gifts, especially for the children. Each child had to get several gifts and all children had to get exactly the same number of gifts to open.Family was her biggest priority and she did it well. The hymn “How Great Thou Art” was originated by Carl Boberg of Sweden in a two verse poem later put to the music of a Swedish melody.Clara was proud of her relationship to Boberg through her grandmother whose maiden name was Helge and a blood relation of Boberg. This hymn was undoubtedly a source of inspiration to her in her relationship with God.
