Clara Michelle Younger LupPlace of Dallas, Texas, born July 3, 1956, passed away on January 18, 2014, at 7pm at the age of 57. She was born to the late Patsy and Eugene Younger. Michelle attended Spruce High School and had received several college hours. She was married to Jim LupPlace for 38 years. Michelle was a Girl Scout leader for many years and volunteered at the schools of her children. She was a big part in developing and opening the Kleberg Library. Michelle also worked at Terrell Christian Academy in the library where her children attended high school.She touched the lives of many different people over her life and would help anyone with anything she could. She was such an amazing, selfless, Christian woman who used her life as an example to others. Michelle is survived by her loving husband, Jim LupPlace; her children,Ashley LupPlace and Clay LupPlace and his wife Lauren; her grandson, Cayden LupPlace; and her brothers, Gene Younger and Richard Younger and his wife Cathy. Michelle was also preceeded in death by her sweet granddaughter Chanson LupPlace (age 3 months). Funeral arrangements: Viewing: 6-8pm on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, Texas. Funeral: Graveside only- Wednesday, January 22, 2014, 11am at Hillcrest Cemetery in Forney, Texas. Instead of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to “Arms of Hope” in honor of Michelle LupPlace. She loved children, even those that were not biologically hers.
