Cindy Hawkins

Cindy Laine Hawkins, 56, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, December 14, 2020 with love in her heart and in those whose hearts she has reached.

She is preceded by her father Gary A. Kennedy and brother Danny W. Kennedy. She is survived by her husband, Larry Hawkins of 37 years, son Cory Hawkins and wife Jeannine and Jessica Hawkins, her granddaughter, Adalyn Hawkins, her mother, Glenda Durrett-Kennedy, her sister Sherry Kennedy-Seale and husband Robert Seale and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Cindy was a strong and fun-filled person, who was often found tending her garden or with her nose in a good book. She lit up a room with her infectious laugh and lively personality. Cindy was a good willed woman and would always give more than was asked of her with no expectations of anything in return. Her time with us was short and brief, but her memory is forever ignited in our hearts.
