Christopher Eric Stepp of Mesquite, passed away June 26, 2018.My precious brother went to be with the Lord today after battling a broken heart. After my grandmother (his best friend) passed away last month, Eric's depression took him down a path of sadness. He withdrew from socializaton, eating, and drinking, and being himself. His organs began shutting down; first his kidneys, then his heart, finally his respiratory function. He developed a lung infection.Baylor ICU was wonderful in trying all possibilities. He now has a new body, no depression, and is with his Grandma.I will always remember us dancing as children in matching outfits, to "Love Will Keep Us Together", his love for the Golden Girls, and our dates at El Chico.#youwillalwaysbemybuddy Christopher Eric Stepp was in Hillcrest Baptist Hospital in Waco, Texas on June 12, 1972.When Eric was thirteen months old, The Stepp family moved from Waco to Mesquite.Eric attended Rugel Elementary, McDonald Middle School, and graduated from Mesquite High School.
