Christopher Max Petty

Christopher Max Petty, age 21, beloved son, brother and friend went home to be with his Lord and Savior, July 23, 2012. Max was born on July 21, 1991. Max was a remarkable young man and graduated from North Mesquite High School in June, 2010, played starter for his favorite team (the North Mesquite Stallions). He is remembered for all the lives he touched, his wonderful humor, and dark blue beautiful eyes that touched everyones soul. He fiercely defended and protected anyone who was weak or defenseless with his trust, love and acceptance. Max will live in the hearts and memories of so many loved ones and friends. He kept everyone entertained and brought smiles to all. The world lost one of the best souls God has ever created and he will be missed so much. Max is preceded in death by his grandmother, Sherrie Petty and baby cousin, Stormee Nichole Jobe. He is survived by his devoted mother, Kristy Marshall, his father and step-mother Ed and Collette Petty; his siblings, Lindsay, Jonathan, Benjamin and Brian; loving grandparents, Sandi and David Parks, Gary and Carolyn Marshall, Bill and Lee Petty, and Charles and Freida Dodson; and Great Grandmother, Virgina Evans; aunts and uncles, Kendra and Darin Jobe, Amanda and Joshua Stewart, and Charles and Rhonda Dodson; his cousins, Rainee, Skylar, Luke, Chuck and Becca; as well as numerous caring relatives. and friends. Family will receive friends Sunday, July 29th at New Hope Funeral Home from 4pm - 6pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 30th at 10:00AM at Sunnyvale First Baptist Church, Sunnyvale, TX.
