Christopher Ray Callahan

August 30, 1969 — January 18, 2023

Christopher Ray Callahan, age 53 passed away at his home in Forney, Texas on January 17, 2023. He was born on August 30, 1969, to Bill and Jane Callahan in Oklahoma City, OK. Chris was preceded in death by his father, Bill Callahan and his grandparents Ann Marie and Robert Joseph Callahan of West St. Paul, MN. Chris graduated from Ramstein High School Germany class of 1989. He enjoyed playing football and golf and working on cars. Chris pursued his career in the United States Army to fight for liberty and freedom because he loved his country. He then went on to get several degrees in Aeronautics. Following that, he became a Heavy Equipment Technician with several companies including CUDD, Holt Caterpillar, Texas First Rentals and Deen Kubota. Chris was known to always have a smile on his face and a joke in his heart. He lived to make everyone laugh. He was loved for his humble personality and his ability to make them feel confident, loved and appreciated. He was the kind of person who would give you absolutely anything if you needed it. He was sometimes too kind, to a fault, but that was him. He loved his family more than life itself and his friends were family to him. He was one of a kind. A Celebration of Life will be held February 4th, 2023, at the Fraternal Order of Eagles at 8500 Arturo Drive, Dallas, TX 75228, from 3pm until 7pm. Chris is survived by the love of his life - his wife DaYon, mother Jane, sister Tiffany and husband David, children: Allyssa, David, Garrett, Madison, Carlos, Patricia, Chris, Jaye and Mackenzie. Nieces Fianna Quinn, Celia Irelyn, nephew Castle William. Grandsons David and Gunner. Granddaughters Jillian, Presley and Harlow and a list of friends too long to include.
