Linda Christine Sanders Olsowski Adams, 67, passed away Thursday January 26, 2017. Chris was born on April 19,1949 in Dallas, Texas to James Richard and Frances Louise Sanders.Chris grew up in Dallas and graduated from W. W. Samuell High School in 1967.Growing up, she was a member of Urban Park United Methodist Church.After high school, she attended North Texas State University. Chris is survived by her husband of 47 years, Paul Adams. They were married on November 26, 1969 while Paul was on a 3 day pass from the Army. They resided in Forth Huachuca, Arizona where Paul served in the Army.They moved back to Dallas, Texas in 1971 where they raised their children before moving to Lake Tawakoni in 2003. Chris was a property tax assistant for Mobil Oil Corporation for 25 years before retiring in 2001.After retirement, Chris was thrilled to be able to spend more time with her grandchildren. Chris leaves behind many loved ones who will miss her deeply, including her children; Traci Tatom & her husband, Danny Tatom of Rockwall, Stephanie Varney & her husband, Gordon Varney of Rockwall; grandchildren, Ashley Sealey, Corbin Tatom, Taylor Sealey, Sarah Sealey and Landry Tatom, along with her sisters, Diana Erwin and her husband, Bukki Erwin and Ginny Burks and her husband, Tommy Wayne Burks and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. Chris was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Louise Sanders and her first husband, Lance Corporal Gary Neal Olsowski. Donations may be made in Remembrance of Chris Adams to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Family will receive friends at the funeralhome Wednesday evening February 1, 2017from 6:00PM - 8:00PM. Service will be 10:00AM Thursday February 2, 2017 at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy. 80, Sunnyvale, TX. 75182. Interment will follow at 2:30PM at DFW National Cemetery, Dallas, TX.
