YORK, Charles Daniel of Mesquite, born in Alto, TX. April 9, 1937, passed away May 8, 2010. He was a member of Mimosa Lane Baptist Church for approximately 25 years. Preceded in death by parents, Harvey & Ethel York; one sister and three brothers. Survived by loving wife of 52 years, Pat York; daughter, Melody Rohde & husband, Travis; sons, Mike York, Jeff York & wife, Beverly; granddaughter, Hannah Rohde; grandson, Chad Rohde & wife, Morgan; grandson, David Isaiah York; great grandsons, Trapper & Cash Rohde; 10 sisters-in-law, 5 brothers-in-law; numerous nephews, cousins and many wonderful friends and neighbors. Also his beloved puppy, Duke. Service will be 10:00AM Wednesday May 12, 2010 at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy. 80, Sunnyvale, TX. 75812. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00PM " 8:00PM. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery in Detroit, Texas. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Pit Stop Ministries of the Mimosa Lane Baptist Church, Mesquite, TX.
