VENTURA, Charles Edward of Mesquite, born August 30, 1938, passed away December 6, 2012. Preceded in death by father: Charlie; mother, Elziabeth; brother, Frank and sisters, Jannete and Roxie; best friend, Jerry. Survived by wife of 52 years: Marlene Ventura; Daughter:Tammy Rivera and son-in-law, Luz Felipe; Grandchildren: Charlie & girlfriend, Dottie and Andrew; Uncle & 2nd father:Michael, Rosalie and Annette, uncle to Louis, Doug and Greg, Kevin, Michele, Lance and Terry, Uncle and 2nd father to Pam. Uncle to James, best friend and 2nd father to Kim & Gary Barnes and 2nd grandfather to their kids, Tom and Susan; Cousin and lifelong friend to Nick Dean and Patsy; brother-in-law to Jim, Dot, Sue and Margie; Friend to Charan and family; friend to all of FCOP Deaf Youth. Lifelong friend to the Rivera family, Sears family, Erback family and Gonzalez family. The greatest goal in his life was to love and support all of his friends and family. His loyalty and love was tremendous. Daddy you were successful at your goal! We all felt your love and appreciated your loyalty. Service will be 2:00PM Monday December 10, 2012 at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy. 80, Sunnyvale, TX. 75182. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 2:00PM - 4:00PM.
