Charles "Billy" Hilburn

Charles Medford Hilburn, Sr. (Billy) was born March 24, 1926 in Van Zandt County and he passed away on May 25, 2006. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clabe and Nannie Hilburn; Brother, James Hilburn; Sister, GladysDavidson; Brother, Gene Hilburn; and sister Velma Guinn. He is survived by his wife Guylene Hilburn; Son, Charles M. Hilburn, Jr. and wife Becky; daughter, Karen Stephens and husband Greg; daughter, Nan Wheat and husband Steve.Also survived by his grandchildren, Sarah Riley, Anna Hilburn, Anna Snow, Shiela Snow, Greg Stephens, Jr., Justin Stephens, Gary Hall, Jr., Jason Hall, Rachel Henning, Lauren Wheat, and Cari Wheat and great grandchildren; Haeley, Long, Jordan Riley, and Jenna Riley.Survived by brother, Marshall Hilburn and wife Mary; sister in law, Justine Hilburn Jones and numerous nieces, nephews and loving family members. Billy loved to meet people and made many friends.He loved animals and he enjoyed working in his yard and garden.He also enjoyed games, travel, sports and he loved to aggravate and tease his grandchildren.
