Charles Bond

Charles Bond, born October 15, 1940, passed away on February 2, 2005 from lung cancer.He was surrounded by his loved ones when he drew his last breathe before entering into the presence of Almighty God. He was preceded in death by his Father, Joseph C. Bond; his Mother, Addie B. Bond; and his Brother, Joseph Curtis Bond. He is survived by his Son, Rodney Bond and his children, Jamie and Kevin; his Daughter, Phyllis Stevens and her Husband David and their children Amanda and John; Daughter, Donna DeLaCruz and her Husband, Bern and their children Jessica, Jourdan, and Jacob; Daughter, Melissa Inbusch and her Husband Steve and their children Lexie, Hannah, Mary and Abby; Son, Ricky Bond and his children Rachael and Felisia; Daughter, Lety Martinez and her children Joe Angel and Matthew; and Son, Andrew Bond and his daughter Nicole. Also survived by his Brother, Thomas Bond; Sister, Jaudean Brooks; Brother, Manuel Bond; Sister, Joanne Gourd; and Brother, Jimmy Bond. Gene was a very determined, self-reliant and strong willed man.Through his illness he had a constant optimism and strong hope for the future.He continued with a steadfast heart and a determination not to allow himself to be a burden for any of his loved ones.His work ethic remained strong to the end with a continued respect for others.
