Chad Winn

Chad Allen Winn, age 26, graduated to Heaven on May 13, 2006.His battle was long and hard, but he fought it with a smile.He loved people, he loved life, and he loved laughter. Chad was born on January 29, 1980, at St. Paul Hospital in Dallas.He graduated from Home School in 1998, then attended one semester at Providence Baptist College before complications from his diabetes brought him back to Dallas.He was a faithful member of Open Door Baptist Church in Mesquite for 26 years, where he served in the Bus Ministry and Primary Church. He is survived by his parents, Larry and Susan Winn, of Dallas;sister and brother-in-law, Tracey and Courtney Stehle; nephew and niece, Zander and McKenzie Stehle, all of Mesquite:brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Nicole Winn, of Mesquite; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. His Homegoing Celebration will takeplace at 10am at Open Door Baptist Church, 1212 S. Beltline Rd. in Mesquite.Internment will follow at New Hope Memorial Gardens, Sunnyvale, Tx. Many hearts have been lightened by Chad's humor, and he loved to shareJesus with those he met throughout his life.II Timothy 4:7 describes Chad, "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:" Family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00PM - 8:00PM.
