Casimiro Martinez

Casimiro Martinez Sr., of Terrell, Texas, passed away on March 19,2025 at the age of 96. Casimiro was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, and friend. He was known for his warm heart, sense of humor, and his love for the outdoors. Casimiro especially loved fishing, gardening, and going to the Casino. He also enjoyed telling old stories from his younger years.

Casimiro is survived by his children: Ludivina Cuellar and husband Alberto, Casimiro Martinez Jr. and wife Janie, Hector Martinez and wife Ellie, Noelia Martinez and husband Rodolfo Salinas, Patricia Slocum, Corina Moreno and husband Florentino; 38 grandchildren; 80 great-grandchildren; 30 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Esteban Martinez; and daughter-in-law, Lidia Martinez.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Elia Martinez; son, Ricardo Martinez; daughter, Neyda Guardiola; and son-in-law, Floyd Slocum.
