Carroll James Innmon died on February 5, 2020. He was born on June 29, 1930 in Liberty Hill, Texas in a share cropper house down at the edge of a pasture on the Parks Farm.His parents were Anthony Smith Innmon and Emma Etta Shephard. Carroll graduated from Liberty Hill High School in 1947.Upon graduation, he followed the example of an uncle and joined the US Army Air Corp. From that day forward Carroll had a successful 42 year career in Information Technology.During the 42 years, Carroll was a Computer Programmer (in machine language), a Systems Analyst, a Master Instructor an IT Program Manager and a Data Systems Director.Upon retirement from the US Air Force, Carroll traveled all over the Middle East managing the installation of clinical information systems at Saudi Arabian Military Hospitals.For the past 20+ years Carroll allocated his free time to the community service.He was a AARP Tax aide for over 12 years.The activity he enjoye3d the most was driving veterans out to the VA hospital.Carroll clearly demonstrated the concepts of love God, love your neighbor and community service.Carroll was awarded the heritage award for outstanding service by the First United Methodist Church of Mesquite.Carroll was a member of the Masonic Lodge #928. Carroll was always a family man.He was very proud of his family and they are very proud of him.He was preceded in death by his parents: Anthony S. Innmon, Emma Etta Innmon, his brothers: Earl Innmon, William “Dub” Innmon.He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Lillian Innmon, his daughters: Suzanne Blakely and Met Innmon, his son-in-law, Larry Hansen, his granddaughters: Moriah Braddock and Adrianna Braddock, his sisters: Leona Morris and Earlene Dorsa and numerous nieces and nephews.
