Carolyn A. Norman was born April 9, 1939 and passed away on March 22, 2018 Carolyn left behind husband, Charles E. Norman, IV, sister Jeannie Tomlison, two daughters: Micquette Elkins and husband Gary, Monica Peters and husband Tim, one son, Charles E. Norman, Jr. V and wife Lisa, four granddaughters, Joanne, Heather, Sarah, Amanda and one grandson, Charles Ross, VI and numerous beloved extended family and friends whom she loved very much. Carolyn is preceded in death by her father, Henry Aechternacht; mother, Louise Manley; daughter, Marla Lambert; son, John Charles Lambert; and stepbrother,HenryAechternacht. Carolyn, was born and raised in Marshall, Texas and graduated in 1957 from Marshall High School.After High School she moved to Dallas and started her career in retail then later moved to Alabama to pursue her passion in singing as a professional jazz singer under the name “Sunny Carol” where she then met the love of her life Charles E. Norman, IV and was married on October 5, 1968. After they were married for several years they moved to Texas where they settled and lived in Mesquite, Texas the last 25 years. Carolyn was beloved by many and will be dearly missed.
