Carolyn Scott Naile passed away on August 2, 2024 in Sunnyvale, TX, surrounded by family. Born to Florea and Garvin Scott on May 24,1955 Carolyn lived 69 years of love, ambition, generosity, and service to everyone that she came in contact with.
Carolyn was born in San Diego, California. She grew up the oldest of her 3 siblings: Terry Scott, Blake Scott, and Elizabeth Noska. After graduating from Mesquite High School in 1973 and attending Austin College, she pursued her passion for teaching children and began working with UTD Callier Center for Communication Disorders, a program for children experiencing deaf-blindness.
This passion for leading and instructing led her to open the Hands on Therapy School of Massage in 1991, where she served as School Director for 33 years. Her efforts impacted the lives of many as well as the massage and beauty industry itself.
Carolyn is survived by her husband Charlie Naile, four children: Ryan (Diana) Scott, JD (Leah) Hearn, Tristyn Naile, and River Naile, who remember her as a nurturing and caring soul. Her three grandchildren, Asher Hearn, Liam Scott, and Mateo Scott will carry on the memory of their Lolli.
As an avid gardener, crystal enthusiast, and shopper extraordinaire, she also graced many with her love of music and her family. Her sausage bread and potato salad were the highlight of many family gatherings. Her commitment to the Mesquite community was evident through her dedication to her massage students and fellow classmates of Mesquite High School.
Predeceased by her parents, Carolyn's memory will be cherished and kept alive by her husband Charlie, her children, grandchildren, siblings, and a community that was better for her presence.
Services to honor and celebrate the life of Carolyn Scott Naile will be held on August 17, 2024, at 10 a.m. at New Hope Funeral Home, located at 500 East Hwy 80 in Sunnnyvale, Texas. Following the service, her celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. at Happenings at Front Street Station located at 203 W Main St in Mesquite, Texas.
Carolyn Scott Naile will be profoundly missed, but her spirit and legacy will continue to guide and inspire all who were blessed to know her.
