Carol Marie Boisvert

Carol Boisvert, 65, a former resident of Johnstown, NY, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX. Carol was born on May 25, 1946 in Albany, NY and was the daughter of the late Roy and Catherine Gomez. She was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Carol is survived by her husband of 44 years, Russell Boisvert; her son, Scot (Elizabeth) Boisvert; her granddaughter, Kathleen Boisvert; her brothers David (Mani) Gomez and Jay (Karen) Gomez and several nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 9470 CR 213, Forney, TX 75126. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 East Highway 80, Sunnyvale, TX, 75182. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Baylor Healthcare System Foundation, 3600 Gaston Ave., Suite 100, Dallas, TX 75246 in memory of Carol M. Boisvert.
