Rev. Carl Wayne Williams, 71, of Dallas, TX passed away on August 17, 2021.
He was born to Edwin Dean Williams and Frances Barbaria Williams. His siblings are Karen, Linda, Brenda, Cindy, Pam, and Steven. He attended Southwestern Assemblies of God College where he answered the call to ministry, pastored his first church, and met the love of his life, Jeanette Cooper. He and Jeanette married in 1972 and had two children, Kisha and Chris. Family was always his first priority after God and the investment paid off because all of his descendants serve the Lord! He could fix almost anything he put his hand to. He enjoyed fishing, but for both fish and men! He supported his family and ministry laying carpet, but his passion was loving people. He spent 40 years as an Assemblies of God pastor.
He is proceeded in death by grandparents Daniel Carl and Viola Williams and Anthony and Gladys Barbaria, his parents Edwin Dean Williams and Frances Barbaria Williams, nephew Jermy Williams, and his brother Robert Murray Williams. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Williams, and his daughter Kisha and Tim Thomson and son, Christopher and Christy Williams. His grandchildren Breanna, Alana, Jenna, Joshua, Jonathan, and Josiah Thomson. His surviving siblings Karen (Randy) Lucas, Linda Williams, Brenda Floyd, Cindy (Rev. Rick) Earp, Pam (John) Shores, and Steven (Kawza) Williams. Carl exchanged his cherished cross for his eternal crown!
