BRADSHAW, Jr., Carl A. of Royse City, TX was born February 7, 1957 and passed away March 11, 2010 at the young age of 53. Carl grew up in Lewisville, Texas and after receiving his diploma he enlisted in the United States Navy in 1976. After eight years of service to his Country, Carl ended his military career and decided to pursue multiple career paths over the years. Anyone who knew Carl knows that he was a kind-hearted, thoughtful Man with a passion for music and a good time. He was always full of surprises. Thats what we loved and will miss most about Carl. Carl was preceded in death by his Brother: Brett Allen. Mother: Dorothy Sneed Byrd. Father: Carl Arthur Bradshaw Sr. and Stepfather Glenn T. Byrd. Carl is survived by his Brothers: Joe Lynn and his Wife Cheryl, Wayne, Darryl and Troyce. Sisters: Donna, Melda and her Husband Alan, Wanda and her Husband Randle and Demaris and her Husband Chad. Nephews: Clay, Brian, Troy and Blake. Nieces: Amanda, Emily, Jessica and Heather. Visitation will be held for family and friends on Friday morning, March 26, 2010 @ New Hope Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens located in Sunnyvale, TX between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. at the Dallas-Ft. Worth VA National Cemetery located at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Carl to the Fisher House Foundation. The Fisher House donates comfort homes built on the grounds of major military and VA medical centers enabling family members to be close to a loved one during hospitalization for an unexpected illness, disease or injury. They are also a sponsor of Scholarships for Military Children, the Hero Miles Program and co-sponsor of Newmans Own Award.
