Calvin Lee Steward

STEWARD, Calvin was born August 20, 1944, one hour before his twin brother, Alvin. Both parents, Jessie Lee Steward and Anna Sample preceded him in death. Calvin attended Fannie C. Harris Elementary and James Madison High School. Calvin learned about, accepted and believed in God's word.That is why he was such a good man. We will truly miss him. Survived by wife and companion of 32 years, Nancy Steward; children, Adriane, Sherry, Calvin, Jr., Linda and (Carl), Suetena, Kevlyn and (Sadie); grandchildren, Dewayne, Gary, Treniece, Aaron Franiqua, Symone & Joshua; sisters, Doris, Jo Ann & Jewell; brothers, Maurice and (Vickie), Alvin & (Jerutha), Jessie; and a great number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Calvin's special friend, William (Jack) Jackson. Service will be 11:00AM Thursday, March 2, 2006 at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel.
