Calvin Crosby McDaniel

Calvin Crosby McDaniel, born July 23, 1941 in Visalia, CA. passed to his reward on June 14, 2006 at the age of 64 years, 11 months, 23 days.He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Avis McDaniel on July 24, 1974 and a brother James Paul McDaniel on July 7, 1998. He is survived by his three children Mike McDaniel and wife, Vicky, from Victorville, CA., Sherry McDaniel from Apple Valley, CA. and D'Ann McDaniel from Hesperia, CA.; his father, Myrle Crosby of Buda, TX.; one sister; Linda Wallace and husband Jack of Decatur TX; three brothers, John McDaniel and wife Peggy of Austin, TX, Al McDaniel and wife Diane of Carrollton, TX., Phil McDaniel and wife Sharon of Garland, TX; three grandchildren, Stephanie, Michael, Christiana, and numerous nieces and nephews. Crosby served in the United States Army.Over his career Crosby, worked as a brick mason, concrete contractor,and an insurance adjuster. The famly will receive friends on Sunday, June 19, 2006 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, TX. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, June 19, 2006 at Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in Mesquite, TX and Rev. Johnny Grissom, Rev. Richard Flowers and Rev. Rex Johnson will be officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
