Bruce Gregory Dalton, a beloved son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and friend passed away on Sunday September 27, 2020 with his family and friends by his side.
Bruce was born on December 25, 1958 in Lancaster, California to James and Eunice Dalton. Bruce and family moved to Forney, Texas shortly after his birth where he was raised and graduated high school in 1977.
Bruce loved racing, hunting, fishing, the DALLAS COWBOYS, and spending time with his family and friends. Despite all of his loves in life there was none greater than his children and grandchildren. His smile would light up the room, but especially when it involved conversations about his family.
Bruce was a talented Project Superintendent for HRNCIR Construction. He loved his job and took great pride in its timely completion, quality of work, and especially its cleanliness. A job was not complete until it had been “Daltonized.” He was admired by many in the construction industry, especially those he worked closest with.
Bruce is preceded in death by his parents James and Eunice Dalton. Father-in-law Robert Fincanon and grandfather-in-law C.C. Fields.
Bruce is survived by his wife Wendy Dalton; his children Michael, Courtney, and Blake Dalton; his grandchildren Britton and Olivia Dalton; his sister Stephanie and her husband Larry Boettigheimer; his brother James and his wife Monica Dalton; his mother-in-law Sharon Fincanon and grandmother-in-law Mary Fields; his sisters-in-law Kristie Shirley, Kim Edwards and her husband Ryan and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Scott Chadwick of the First Baptist Church of Hutchins, Texas. Graveside services will be officiated by The Most Rev. Ray R. Sutton – Presiding Bishop of the Reformed Episcopal Church (REC) and the Ordinary of the Diocese of Mid America – Church of the Holy Communion Angelica Cathedral of Dallas, Texas
