Bonnie Belinda Buchanan

Bonnie Belinda Bishop Buchanan of Mesquite TX, born March 15, 1961 in Wichita, KS, passed away August 29, 2015 at Baylor T. Boone Pickens Cancer Hospital in Dallas TX.She died at age 54 of infection during treatment for leukemia after a battle with breast cancer. Bonnie was an administrative assistant at Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall TX where she was actively involved and led worship for the children’s ministry.She was the loving wife of David C. Buchanan for 35 years and loving mother of Natalie Marie Reyna. Bonnie was dearly loved by her family and numerous friends. She will be remembered for her bubbly personality, her devotion to her family and church, continually giving of herself for the needs of others, and her steadfast faith in her Savior Jesus Christ. A visitation will be held from 6:00PM-8:00PM Friday, September 4 at Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall. The funeral service will be held at 10:00AM Saturday, September 5 at Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall. She is survived by her husband, David C. Buchanan of Mesquite TX, daughter Natalie & husband Derek Reyna of Rockwall TX, Grandchildren Zoe, Anabelle, & Jett Reyna,parents Ralph and Carol Bishop of Overland Park KS, mother Donna Kay Vincent Kohrs of Las Vegas NA, sisters Beverly Bishop of Las Vegas NA, Brenda (Randy) Holopirek of Burdett KS, Barbara (Bryan) Unruh of Milton FL, Becky (Bill) Thomas of Lenexa KS, and several nieces and nephews.
