ROBINSON, Bobbie Nell Edgar of Mesquite, passed away November 13, 2012 at home surrounded by her family at the age of 83. Bobbie Nell was born August 1, 1929 in Rains County, TX. She lived early life in Alba, TX., then moved to the Gulf Coast during the 40's and later moved to Dallas with her husband, Anthony Wayne Robinson in the early 1950's where they lived until his death. Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Anthony Wayne (Boag) Robinson; her son, Quinton Mark Robinson; grandson, Jason Jay Williams; mother & father; 4 brothers and 7 sisters. Survived by her son, Dwight Ray Robinson of Ft. Worth; daughters, Pamela June Robinson of Mesquite, Tressea Lavon Rash of Allen; 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; sister, Hazel O. Thomas; many nieces and nephews. Her greatest gift was the love and care she provided for her family, friends and special few who considered her a second mother or grandmother. Her ever-present love of our Lord Jesus Christ was evident througout her life as she shared her home with many through the years. She attended church at Dallas Pentecostal Church for over fifty years and participated in Bible Study at Pleasant Oaks Baptist Church for the past three years. She was a housewife and mother, Sunday School teacher, teen-age church leader, and ever present prayer warrior. Although Alzheimer's had affected most of her memory, during church services, she still quoted the scripture as the preachers would read it, she could remember the words to many hymns, and she lifted her hands in praise in her final days as others prayed for her. She truly cared for others more than herself, and demonstrated this virtue in her daily life. If you were fortunate enough to know Bobbie Nell, you know she was a great cook and shared the bounty of her table with anyone who came to her home. Visitation will be Saturday at New Hope from 11:00AM - 1:00PM. Celebration of her life will be held at 10:00AM Monday November 19, 2012 at the Dallas Pentecostal Church 8126 Suetelle Dr., Dallas, TX. 75217. Graveside service will be at the Colony Church of Christ Cemetery, Hwy. 779, Rains County, TX. Her body will then be buried between her husband and son.
