Bobbie Don Birdwell

BIRDWELL, Don, 83, passed away January 5, 2010 in Dallas, TX. He was born on August 15, 1927 in Josephine, TX. to Clarence and Iris Birdwell. He was a dedicated, well-loved family man who greatly enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Don served his country as a medic in World War II and was a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as brothers, James M. Birdwell, Charles Ray Birdwell, Harold Joe Birdwell and Kenneth Wayne Birdwell. Don is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nell Birdwell of Balch Springs; daughter & son-in-law, Donell & David Youngblood of Whitehouse, TX; son & daughter-in-law, Gary & Jeannie Birdwell of Carrollton, TX; grandson, Russell Youngblood & wife, Tiffany of Arlington, TX, grandson, Robbie Birdwell of Duncanville, TX.; sister, Mary Latham of Amarillo, TX.; brothers, Lynn Birdwell of Greenville, TX., Glynn Birdwell of Jefferson, TX. and Stanley Birdwell of Greenville, TX; sister, Sandra Sue Hart of Carrollton, TX. Service will be 10:00AM Saturday January 8, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Sunnyvale, 3018 N. Beltline Road, Sunnyvale, TX. 75182. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00PM " 8:00PM.
