Billy James Wilcoxson

Billy James Wilcoxson went from this life to God’s presence on May 17, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father Hallie; mother Effie Lou and sisters, Margaret Jo Forshee and Sally Walker. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Patricia, sons, Garth (Father Aidan) and wife Cynthia, John Brigham and wife Lovanne; daughters, Rosemary Bagley and husband Joe, Alice Frederick; grandchildren, Brendan, Isaac, Katie, Lucia, Benjamin, Giordi, and Will; numerous nephews and nieces. Billy attended Farmersville schools and East Texas University. He had careers as both a regular Air Force officer and as a teacher of history in the Mesquite schools. He loved the Lord, his family, traveling, running, bicycling, the outdoors and getting together with his special friends from Farmersville, He was much loved and will be sadly missed. Arrangements include a graveside service at the DFW National Cemetery at 10:00AM on Thursday May 22, 2014 and a memorial service at 2:00PM on the same day at New Hope Funeral Home.
