Billy Lenard Morris

Billy Lenard Morris was born on December 22, 1934 to Lenard Charles and Laura Isabell Morris in Waco, Texas. He had seven brothers and one sister.He met the love of his life, Peggy Gassaway in 1952.They dated for 2 years before being married. Billy and Peggy were married June 26, 1954. They have 4 amazing children, Sherry, Carol, Cindy and Billy Jr.(Bo). Billy had Bil-Mor Construction company for 45 years. Most of his work was in East Texas. He loved family time. He enjoyed camping. He would share scary stories with all of us around a campfire.He loved long drives, vacations to Colorado, Arkansas and Branson.He loved to barbeque for family gatherings.He loved his wife very much. First of all he loved his Lord and Savior Jesus! On October 18, 2016 at 11:30 P.M. Billy Lenard Morris went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus.He suffered many years with health problems. He is now home and painfree.We thank our sweet precious Lord Jesus for taking him home. Billy was preceded in death by his daddy and mother: Lenard Charles and Laura Isabell Morris; siblings: Buster, Ollie, Ralph, Wentford, Wallace, Hollis, Nellie Marie White Slough, and Donald Ray. Billy is survived by the love of his life, Peggy of 62 years; daughter, Sherry and husband David Chumbley of Black Forest, Colorado, daughter, Carol and husband Stan Hill of Crandall, Texas, daughter, Cindy and husband Billy Williams of Kyle, Texas; son, Billy Jr. (Bo) and wife Lanise Morris of Van, Texas, 16 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 3 more on the way. He will be greatly missed. He never met a stranger. He loved Jesus!
