Billy Brandon Moore, 79, died May 5, 2020, at Faith Presbyterian Hospice in Dallas, TX, after a sudden infection, high fever, heart malfunction, and numerous strokes.He was born September 19, 1940, in Throckmorton, TX to Olga Inell Probst Moore and John Oliver Moore. Billy joined the Army at the age of 16 and due to illness had to reveal his age to get out of the Army.After that he worked at various jobs in El Paso, TX until he decided to get his GED and go to college, which he did and went to Wayland Baptist College in Plainview, TX.He got his bachelor’s degree and gained much more than that by meeting Christ as his Savior and began a life of serving and sharing Christ. Billy met his wife Marie in El Paso, Texas in 1964, and through much experience of Christ they married in December of 1965. They have been married for 54 years and have a wonderful daughter, Allison Smoot, and son-in-law, Conrad Smoot, who have two sons, Chance Smoot, who is nine, and Ethan Smoot who is seven; and a wonderful son, Benson Moore, and daughter-in-law, Patsy Moore, and four sons; Dylan Moore, who is 18, Brandon Moore, who is twelve, Travis Moore, who is nine, and Chase Moore, who is seven. Billy will always be remembered as one who loved his natural family, and his church family.Billy’s family is so happy that they can look forward to the same destination in Christ.
