Betty Jean Polley"Gragsone-Wise, age 77 of Dallas, TX passed away on Thursday July 2, 2009. She is survived by 10 children: Sons: George, Jimmy, Rowland, Harold, Fred and Richard; Daughters: Gaylle, Ellen, Caroline and Mary Ann; Sons-in-law: George, Raymond, Kenneth, Larry and Abel; Daughters-in-law: Barbara, Marie and Lisa; 25 grandchildren, 66 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren; Sister: Patsy Darlene Cantrell; Brothers: Earl Howard Polley and William David Cantrell; Numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband: Melvin Wise; Parents: Elizabeth Cantrell, Jewell and Jessie Polley; Former Husband: George Gragsone Sr.; Son-in-law: Willie Dickens Sr.; Grandson: Willie Dickens Jr; Sister: Shirley "Mickie" Hollis. Service will be 12:00 Noon Tuesday July 7, 2009 at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy. 80, Sunnyvale, TX. 75182. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00PM " 8:00PM.
