Betty Belle Vaubel went to be with Jesus on the morning of March 26, 2021 at the age of 96 in Forney, Texas. Betty was born October 26, 1924 in Litchfield, Illinois. She is preceded in death by her parents Nellie and Homer Martin, husband Charles Vaubel, brother Roy Martin, sister Pauline Rosenow and great-great- granddaughter Chanson Belle LupPlace. She is survived by four children, Douglas, Patricia, Karla and Christe, eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Betty lived in Chicago during the time husband Charles served in WWII where she worked manufacturing boots for the war effort. They settled in Beloit Wisconsin after the war. Betty and Charles moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico with their four children in 1958 where she graduated from Presbyterian School of Vocational Nursing in 1960. She worked for Dr. Thomas Hayes for seven years and for Dr Jack Redman from 1968 to 1991 when he retired from Medicine. Betty has two daughters, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild that have followed in her steps as Registered Nurses. Betty attended Temple Baptist church for sixty-one years. Betty went to live with her daughter in Forney, Texas in 2018. Betty will be laid to rest on Friday, April 2 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Forney, Texas.
