Betty Jo Sivley, 77, died April 1, 2013 in Mesquite, Texas. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Landmark Family Fellowship Church, located at 2523 Clay Mathis Road, Mesquite, Texas 75181 (972) 222-0865. The burial will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Chapelwood Cemetery in Texarkana, Texas. The viewing will take place on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at New Hope Funeral Home located at 500 East Hwy. 80, Sunnyvale, Texas (972) 226-2111. All friends and family are welcome. Mrs. Sivley was born on March 16, 1936 in Bowie County, Texas. Mrs. Sivley is survived by two children: Debra Anderson and Donna Sivley; two grandchildren: Melanie Carter, and her husband Richard, and Brendan Cherry; one great grandson: Collin Carter; and two sisters: Sybile Murphy and Francis Hudgins . Mrs. Sivley is predeceased by her parents Will Dillard and Mary Jane Kirby; and her sisters Louise Clawson, Vernell Burleson, Imagene Askew, and brothers David Kirby and James Kirby.
