Betty Sue Long Sunrise: November 10, 1951 Sunset: October 28, 2016 Betty Krantz was born to William and Dorothy Krantz in Winnsboro, Texas on November 10, 1951. She was a recognized student, meriting Honor Society status and graduating from H. Grady Spruce High School in Dallas, Texas. At the age of 22 she would meet the love of her life and after only three weeks of courtship, Betty became Mrs. Tommy Long on March 15, 1974. After several years of being unable to have children, Tommy and Betty were blessed to have their only child Matthew Aaron, born in June 1981. Betty is preceded in death by her father William Krantz, mother Dorothy Krantz, brother William Krantz, Jr. and a daughter that was miscarried Autumn Elizabeth. Betty is survived by her loving husband of 42 years - Tommy Long, her son - Matthew, daughter-in-love Jenifer, and the pride and joy of her life…her grandsons David Michael and Daniel Isaac. Betty loved to serve her family. She was her husband’s right hand in business as they operated a car dealership for a number of years. You would never see Betty out and about without keeping a neat and tidy appearance. She was active in their home church and was a true Woman of God. She would oftentimes worship the Lord and sing gospel hymns as she would do her daily routine in the home. She was a wonderful wife, mother, homemaker, friend, prayer partner and a woman who loved the Lord with her entire being. She will be missed by everyone who was blessed to know her.
