Betty Joann Jones

Betty J Jones - Born April 5th 1934 – Passed from this life on November 19th 2019. Preceded in death by her parents; Clyde and Cleo Thornburg, Sister Kleeta Doak, Sister Mary Lou Costlow, and Brother Jerry Thornburg. She is survived by her children Deeanna and husband Ronald Mason and daughter Pamela Townsend. Grandchildren Betty Townsend, Clyde Townsend, Misty McClure, Melissa and husband Aaron Garza. Great grandchildren Amanda and husband Jesse Hooten, Kaitlynn and Trevor Baker, Jaxon and Logan Jones. Great great granddaughter Kaylee Hooten. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas she had a long work history in food service. She carried lasting relationships from her many years of employment. She attended Beacon Hill Baptist Church from her early adult years where she devoted her life to Christ. In her senior living apartment complex she established many lasting friendships. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved her family fiercely. She was a very spiritual woman who instilled those values in her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
